My Cup Of Chai!

In the evening around 7, my sister came home from office. She rushed me and my other sister to get the tanks full in our two wheelers.

At the petrol pump, around 100 two wheelers ahead us and within five minutes behind us too.
And the car line! Unimaginable! 1-2kms long. Firstly i thought the cars might have been parked that way, later i came to know it was actually the line! Waiting for their turns to get their tanks full.
The reason for this fuzz was, the petrol price were going to increase before we read it all in the newspaper the next morning, by Rs.7.50/litre, in Ahmedabad and across the country.

A man tried cutting the line and went ahead. The few behind him shouted. That is why the person filling petrol got to know. Poor man had to go back. Again waiting for another hour in the Que.

Each and everyone were in a hurry to get their tanks full before the petrol at the pump gets over for the day.

The radio stations, news channels had a breaking news to flash. Petrol Price Hike

Petrol prices should really go down or the people of next generations will be taught only to walk. And gym trainers will have to find some other jobs!

I really don't get the point of filling the tanks on a day before the rise! For, 2 wheelers, it's still fine.
Saw pics of owners of mercs and bmws standing in a long que to save a menial 200-300 rupees.
    Time isn't important, eh ?
